Late season on the rivers around Bariloche is arguably one of the best places in the world to look for trophy brown trout, which drop down from the lakes and reservoirs en masse to spawn. Over the last couple weeks I’ve been fortunate enough to fish with expert local guides and friends such as Willy Ricigliano, Juan Cruz, Mariano Wainstein and Nico and Alex Trochine. The fishing for these migratory fish isn’t easy, and we’ve been skunked more times than we’d like to admit. But the rewards are worth the effort.

First time I have seen a picture stating that it is more honest view of a fish…lol. I have always been taught to hold the fish as close to the camera as possible. hahaha
Either way it is an awesome fish.
