Waters fished:
- Limay River — Legendary river with year-round rainbow and brown trout action. Floated by drift boat or raft from three access points. Migratory trophy fish arrive from Lago Nahuel Huapi in spring and fall.
- Manso River — Crystal-clear waters with prolific insect hatches and exceptional dry fly action. Surrounded by Valdivian rainforest and Andean peaks. Streamers and dries both productive.
- Lake District — Iconic lakes including Mascardi, Fonk, Hess, Steffen, Roca, Los Cesares, and Nahuel Huapi. Chance at a “trout grand slam” — brown, rainbow, and brook trout in one day.
- Pichi Leufu Creek — A hidden gem. Private spring creek with 10 km of exclusive walk-and-wade water through dramatic steppe and cliffs. Sight fishing and dry fly action.
- Foyel River — Flows from the southern glaciers of Nahuel Huapi National Park. Reliable hatches and dry fly action in a quiet, less-pressured setting.
Best seasons:
- Early Season (Nov – Mid-Jan) — Snowmelt runoff, streamer action, building hatches. Dragonfly hatches from December.
- Mid-Season (Late Jan – Mid-March) — Warmer water, deeper fish, precise presentations. Manso shines early and late in the day.
- Late Season (Late March – April) — Pre-spawn browns are aggressive and trophy-sized. Prime streamer fishing. Limay at its best.
